Application Instructions

Thank you for your interest in the Montgomery Leadership Program (MLP).

This program requires a 2.75 cumulative grade point average, at least 60 earned credit hours (junior status), and a commitment of 20 community service hours. This program also requires students to be in good standing with the Code of Student Conduct and to attend and be actively engaged and participate during class times.

To complete this application, you must answer a series of brief prompts and speak to your experiences in leadership, service, and ethics.

Student Applications are due by 11:59pm on Friday, May 30, 2025.

Our online application will guide you through the process. You will be asked to supply detailed information that you may want to organize before beginning the process. The following explanation will help you in your preparations.

Logging Into and Exiting the Application Process

After you login, make sure you save your work often. You may exit the system at any time. The information you have entered will be saved when you select the "Save & Proceed" button at the bottom of each page. You can login later, review and edit your completed information, and continue. After you have entered all required information, you will be given an opportunity to review your package for accuracy.

While on the "Review" page, if you submit your application, your information will be saved in its current form, and you will be unable to make any future changes.

Please Note: In the unlikely event that your computer or internet fails, we recommend that you complete your answers in a word processing document and then paste your responses into the online application.
